Uma Thurman can rest simpler tonight. A man convicted of stalking the actress remains in jail, regardless of attempts by his attorney to have the fees in opposition to him dismissed.
Jack Jordan was convicted in 2008 of stalking Ms. Thurman, granted probation and given a stern restraining order: make no further makes an attempt to contact the actress.
Mr. Jordan violated the restraining order by calling Thurman, demanding to talk with her.
That was sufficient to get his probation revoked, touchdown him in a Manhattan jail.
His legal professional, Sam Roberts, is said to be in the processing of working out a deal whereby Mr. Jordan might be released on bail.
